Venues: The Cart Shed Tearoom & The Pickled Peacock
Schedule: 5 Days per Week (No split shifts, daytime hours)
Start Date: November 2026
Location: Carse of Gowrie

Are you a skilled, passionate chef looking for a rewarding new chapter? A truly unique position has opened up within our management team as one of our beloved chefs, Kevin, begins his well-earned road to retirement. While Kevin will remain in the business to support the transition, we are taking our time to find the right individual to step into his shoes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talent across two highly successful, well-run, single-chef kitchens. If you thrive on autonomy, love working with fresh ingredients, and want to be part of a dedicated team, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Manage two independent kitchens on a rotating 5-day schedule.

Design and execute daily specials that champion local, seasonal produce.

Maintain high standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and stock control.

Collaborate closely with a supportive front-of-house and management team.

What We Are Looking For:

Experienced Chef: Confident running a single-chef kitchen efficiently under pressure.

Produce-Driven: A genuine passion for local Scottish ingredients and seasonal menu planning.

Team Player: A hardworking, reliable individual with excellent communication skills.

Adaptable: Excited by the variety of cooking for two distinct, popular destination venues.
