The Railway Cafe Our Railway Cafe is in the stunning visitor centre at Bucks Railway in Quainton HP22 4BY. Open Mon-Fri 9.30-2pm. Cakes, breakfast, lunch, snacks & drinks.

Also open Sundays for museum/steaming days when the whole site is open and an entry fee will apply. Located inside our stunning glass-roofed Visitor Centre (no charge for entry) with fabulous railway exhibits to admire!

The whole Railway Centre has been booked for a private event this Friday 4th September, so The Railway Cafe will be closed that day I'm afraid.

We're so sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We will be open as usual next week: Monday to Friday 9.30am-2pm, and we look forward to see you all soon!

Tomorrow (Wednesday 26th) is our last Wednesday Steaming Day this summer.

The cafe is still open but not until 10.30am and visitors need to purchase an entry ticket to come in. Open until 5pm.

We are also open for a special event on bank holiday Monday when opening hours are 10.30-5pm and entry tickets are required. This is for Auto Fest our annual car rally! Visit www.bucksrailcentre.org for more details and booking.

This week at The Railway Cafe…

The cafe is open for snacks, breakfast and lunch 9.30-2pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Kids eat for £2.50 from the kids menu on these days, when eating with a paying adult.

You can wander around half the site, which includes the play area, visitor centre, gift shop and plenty of trains to look at to keep the children amused!

On Wednesday, it’s a steaming Day, so visitors will need to purchase an entry ticket. Enjoy the whole site including the railway museum, steam train rides, miniature and model railways, the travelling post office, cafe, gift shop, play area and visit centre… buy your tickets online or when you get here.
