The Railway Cafe Our Railway Cafe is open Monday to Friday 9.30am until 2pm all year round.

We are also open on Sundays for our steaming days where our entire site is open and an entry fee will apply. Located inside our stunning glass-roofed Visitor Centre (no charge for entry) with fabulous railway exhibits to admire!

The Railway Cafe - inside the beautiful visitor centre at Bucks Railway Centre in Quainton. No entry fee to come in for our cafe-only days Monday to Friday 9.30am-2pm.

Enjoy a sweet treat, breakfast or lunch, hot/cold drinks and ice creams. Good prices and yummy food.

Wander around the exhibits inside and out. The kids can enjoy the train tables, the play area and our fun Visitor Centre I-Spy…

If you’re looking for somewhere to go on the last day of half term today, why not pop down and spend a leisurely morning with us at The Railway Cafe? We’re so much more than a cafe!

Enjoy a snack, drink, ice cream, breakfast or lunch whilst looking around our beautiful visitor centre and gift shop.

The kids can have fun with our I-Spy sheet and on the play area and train tables, plus you can look at the carriages and engines outside.

Open 9.30-2pm today. (No entry fee.)

Not many cafes can say they've got a beautifully restored steam engine from 1847 on display! Customers to The Railway Cafe can wander around our stunning visitor centre and admire the exhibits, including loco no.3020 ‘Cornwall’, pictured here, and our stunning Royal Dining coach, plus lots more inside and out.

We are open today as usual from 9.30am-2pm, but we will be serving a reduced menu, including bacon and sausage baps, sandwiches, drinks and snacks.

The gift shop and visitor centre will be open as usual for you to wander around, as well as the children's play area. Thursday and Friday will be back to normal.

We’re opening at 9.30am this morning as usual, and can’t wait to welcome you! We have our popular and delicious Full English Breakfasts on offer as always, as well as other brekkie options, lunch offerings and lots of drinks and snacks… as well as a stunning heritage railway visitor centre to look around! Our gift shop will be open and we also have a play area for the children!

This is what we call The Oxford Room - it's a side room inside our visitor centre and is used as an extra space for our cafe. You can sit in here if you want to, or you can sit inside the main visitor centre, or you can sit outside on one of the picnic tables - so many options and lots of room for everyone. There's lots to see and do - we're not just a cafe, we're so much more!

It's Fri-Yay! It's basically the weekend and a great day to come along for a treat at The Railway Cafe!

Why not get your colleagues together and hold a meeting here instead of at work? We've got plenty of room; we have a separate room for bigger meetings and we even have a vintage train carriage inside the visitor centre that is perfect for meetings of up to around 8 people (it's best to let us know so we can book it out for you). What a great way to end the week! The cafe serves from 9.30am-2pm, but you can use the meeting room or carriage until we leave at 5pm.

Just as an FYI, this vintage carriage is known to us as 'The Churchill' and you won't believe why we call it that... It's because Winston Churchill and Dwight D Eisenhower used this very carriage to hold their secret war strategy meetings! And now, you could hold your work meetings there too!

We're not just a cafe, we're so much more! We hope to see you here soon...

The Railway Cafe: The perfect place to relax, unwind and maybe let off some steam!

Enjoy a simple cup of tea, or treat yourself to a hot chocolate or maybe even an ice cream if the sun continues shining! We also do a fabulous Full English Breakfast (large or small); made-to-order sandwiches, jacket potatoes, snacks and drinks.
