It’s finally out 🩷🌱📰

The Food Issue! 🥳 AND the printed proof I wasn’t dreaming back in March when the magazine I grew up loving, the one that always lived on my parents’ coffee table and now on mine, called asking to feature me & 🤗

What an absolute honour to be featured, not just in any issue, but the Food Issue, alongside so many incredible Lancashire chefs, venues & producers.

This feels extra special because at the heart of everything I create is a deep love and sense of pride for our region. The farmers, the produce, the food heroes both old and new. Supporting local will always be the aim, so being featured in a magazine that celebrates Lancashire feels incredibly meaningful ✨

2026 has already been such a big year. Big risks, big rewards, amazing new connections, special moments and exciting opportunities… but this one might just take some beating 👑

Everyone is inspired by something…

I spend a lot of time reading about food, writing about it, photographing it, thinking and dreaming about it. No matter where life that me, there are 3 things that consistently shape the way I cook for people.

1️⃣ The Seasons & Nature
I loved city life, but my heart belongs in the countryside. The older I get, the more connected I feel to the seasons. The colours, textures, flowers, weather and shifting energy throughout the year.

I love cooking seasonally not just in produce, but in feeling. Spring and summer feel vibrant, abundant and shared. Autumn and winter feel slower, intimate, comforting & candlelit.

2️⃣ Travel & Adventure
Travel is one of the greatest joys in my life and a huge reason I’m building a career on my own terms, so I can experience the world with my boys and show them how vast and exciting it is.

Nothing inspires me more creatively than discovering other cultures through food, local produce and the way people gather, cook & eat together.

3️⃣ Nostalgia & Comfort
Food is deeply emotional to me. Some of our strongest memories as humans are tied to food.

I love learning what feels nostalgic and comforting to people because when you understand that, you can create something incredibly personal, food that takes someone back to a feeling, a memory or a moment in time and isn’t that just magical?

What inspires you most? ✨

Following on from my first “Get to Know Me” post about the different ways to work with me, it felt natural to share a little more about why I love what I do so much ❤️

1️⃣ Working with beautiful local produce and meeting passionate, like-minded people is one of my favourite parts of this work. It’s often the very first thing I think about when building a bespoke menu or event concept.

I also care deeply about keeping waste to a minimum and finding thoughtful ways to use as much of an ingredient as possible. It feels more respectful to the food, the people who produced it and the planet too.

2️⃣ The last few years have brought some really honest reflection about the kinds of work and environments that drain me versus the ones that genuinely light me up.

What I’ve realised is that I need creativity and imagination in my work. I need to build, design, style, dream up ideas and bring them to life. Without that, I feel completely uninspired.

3️⃣ And lastly… my boys ❤️
Becoming their mum completely changed how I define success.

I don’t need huge job titles, endless meetings or a seat at a boardroom table full of meaningless acronyms to feel fulfilled. I just want to do work I’m genuinely great at, create meaningful experiences for people and build a life where work fits around us — not the other way around.

Hi 👋🏼 to all my old friends & new followers.

Welcome to the “Get to know me” series ☺️✨ where I share a bit about how I work, why I love what I do and who I am in simple bite sized content.

I’ve been woefully lacking in showing up on social media in the last few weeks but ‘life has been lifing’ pretty hard, work is insanely busy (v.grateful) mixed with lots of family events, big birthdays and travel and so with a flurry of new followers and some exciting stuff coming up I wanted to get back in the saddle so to speak & do a refresh for anyone new looking for a private chef, food & event stylist or planner; because I’m all 3!!🦄

Come & celebrate our longest day with us ✨🌞🌅

I’m SO excited about this one! It’s going to be the most gorgeous summer evening with divine food, flower crowns and yoga in the meadow ending with intention setting and a sound bath.

I adore spring and summer so much and celebrating the solstice, in season ingredients of high summer whilst appreciating our longest day of sunshine and light with other women feels like such a treat 🤍✨

I canr wait to make food that feels meant for that moment. 🌸👑
