The difference between grass fed beef and 100% grass fed beef born and raised on the farm is massive for the animals 😳

I was amazed when I found out grass fed beef is only 51% grass and the rest can be grain, soya etc .
I genuinely don’t think that’s what the British public would expect?

What’s your thoughts???

If you respect animals always ask is it halal or non halal 👍
Just because it doesn’t say it’s halal doesn’t mean it isn’t halal 🤬
It doesn’t make much difference for you to ask but made all the difference to that animals last few minutes 👍

Open days and farm tours 😊

When the cows return to the farm buildings for winter,we will have on a Saturday morning a guided tour of the cows for customers visiting the shop .

In spring the sheep will be in the farm buildings for lambing so again we will have an open day so people can see the lambs and calves and the way we farm 😊

In summer it really isn’t possible to show you all the animals as they are out grazing over 16 fields👍
This we believe strongly is where the animals should be and not kept in buildings all the time, but also makes it impossible to show you them through the summer 👍
We will post when we are going to have guided tours on a Saturday so you can literally see the process and the importance to the animals of being born and raised on the same farm 👍

Trust me it makes a massive difference to the animals 😊

The bank holiday weather is not great for us , but has been fantastic for the vegetables . 🌽
Finally some good growing weather 😁
You will see more veggies in the shop 👍

Amazing day yesterday 😊
Thank you to all our loyal customers and to all the new customers trying our beef and vegetables for the first time 👍
The new hens have just started laying eggs 🥚 it will still take a while before they are all laying but it’s a good start 👍

How cute is that 😁Great to see the babies now flying around the farm. Also complete respect to them as they will shortly...
