Last week, our founder Billy Manning was honoured as one of the '100 Top Portsmouthians' by The News, Portsmouth in celebration of 100 years of Portsmouth becoming a city 💙

Billy arrived in Portsmouth after WWII and helped shape a piece of the seafront that generations have grown up with ever since. 80 years later, his legacy still lives on every single day through the rides, arcades, golf, Wimpy trips, family days out and traditions so many of you have grown up with.

Billy built more than an amusement park… he built a legacy that still brings smiles to thousands every year 🎢

🌦️⚠️ DON’T LET WEATHER APPS RUIN YOUR PLANS! ⚠️🌦️

How many times have you checked your weather app, seen rain… and then it never actually showed up? 🤔

The truth is, these apps can be wrong more often than you think – and recently it’s even been highlighted on national news how inaccurate forecasts are impacting small businesses, costing them thousands of pounds when people stay home unnecessarily.

☕🍦🎡 From cafés and seafront spots to family attractions, so many local businesses rely on visitors who might be put off by a forecast that doesn’t turn out to be true.

🌤️ So here’s a simple thought:
If in doubt… bring a raincoat and get out anyway!

Enjoy the fresh air, support local, and don’t let a maybe-cloudy forecast stop you from making great memories 💙

👉 Sometimes the best days are the ones the apps got wrong!

We LOVE seeing your pups here! Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in our fairground (sorry pups, no rollercoaster selfies - rides are humans only!). Whether you’re coming from a stroll through Old Portsmouth’s dog-friendly pubs or a zoom around Southsea Common, we’re the ultimate hangout for you and your four-legged mate.
