🧭 HELP US PUT CASTLE ROAD ON THE MAP!

Something very special could soon be coming to Castle Road… The Castle Road Compass ❤️

The plan is to create a beautiful 1.7 metre handcrafted mosaic and bronze compass, permanently installed in the public plaza outside Giuseppe’s at the junction of Castle Road and Kent Road. Designed by Portsmouth artist Pete Codling , it will point towards important Portsmouth landmarks while celebrating the history, community and independent spirit that makes Castle Road what it is.

It’s designed to become a meeting point, local landmark and selfie spot - and another reason for people to stop, explore and spend time on our brilliant street.

But we need your help! The community is raising £10,000 towards the specialist craftsmanship, bronze work, materials and installation, and every donation, big or small, will help bring the Compass to life.
