🦌👏 MORE GOOD NEWS LAST WEEK!👏🦌
Cornwall Council have officially recognised the importance of The Stag Hunt Inn to our community, by adding it to their register of ‘Assets Of Community Value’.
What does this mean?
Amongst other things, the new ACV status has two major impacts which will boost our chance of success:
🦌 Firstly, it adds protection against any change of use application, meaning that The Stag wouldn’t be suitable as a development opportunity.
🦌 Secondly, it gives our community group first refusal to buy, with no one else able to buy The Stag for a period of six months.
Achieving this recognition has taken a huge amount of work behind the scenes, and we are grateful for the many letters we could submit in support of our application from the following:

This is another huge boost to our campaign, but we still need to secure more investment if we are going to Save The Stag!
As we close in on our £300k target, (and with less than £40k to reach it!) your investment will make a real difference!
