New sign is on the way, and it’s all paid for. 🛠️🔥

Please bear with us over the next week while the old Harry’s Cafe sign comes down to make way for the new DJR Community Cafe signage.

Just to be crystal clear: We are still fully open for business as usual.

A new sign, a brand new menu, and a whole new chapter are dropping. We’re building an independent, unapologetic space right here on Wolseley Road.

We are disability-friendly, diversity-friendly, vape-friendly inside, dog-friendly outside, and entirely your own.

Watch this space. Come grab a drink, catch the vibe with us. 👇 (below is the vision)

❤️ A LITTLE RESPECT GOES A LONG WAY AT HARRY’S CAFE ❤️

We just want to say something about something that happened today.

At Harry’s Cafe, we have seating specifically for our customers. We pay for the space, we maintain it, we keep it clean, and most importantly, we want our paying customers to be able to sit down, relax and enjoy the food they’ve paid for.

Today, I politely asked someone who wasn’t a customer to leave the customer seating area. The response was:

“Well, you’re not exactly busy.”

Yes, at that particular moment we weren’t busy, but that doesn’t mean our rules should change.

If we make an exception because it’s quiet, why should the next person be treated differently? We believe rules should apply fairly to everyone, whether we have 1 customer in or 100.

This isn’t about being difficult or unkind. It’s about respecting our business, our space and, most importantly, our customers.

We understand that everyone has their own things going on in life. But surely we can still treat one another with a bit of kindness, patience and respect.

Harry’s Cafe is proud to be part of the community ❤️

We want everyone to feel welcome, but being welcoming doesn't mean we can't have boundaries.

Let’s be kinder to each other. Let’s support local businesses. Let’s build a community where respect goes both ways. ❤️

Thank you to all of our amazing customers who continue to support Harry’s Cafe. It genuinely means the world to us. ☕️🍳❤️
