🍂 Our Autumn High Tea has arrived at La Bouche 🍁

Think cosy catch-ups, freshly baked scones and a table full of autumn flavours. Start with savouries including our sliced beef and onion marmalade sandwich, goat’s cheese tartlet, pork and apple sausage roll, ham hock croquette and butternut squash soup shooter.

Then comes the sweet part: maple and cinnamon scones with clotted cream and jam, spiced carrot cake, Biscoff cheesecake, treacle tart and a macaron.

£25 per person, including a hot drink.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to give the La Bouche menu a fresh new look, with plenty of your favourites alongside some exciting new dishes.

From the La Bouche Signature and Brisket Hash, to our Chorizo Stack, Nordic French Toast, toasted sandwiches, fresh light bites and plenty more — there’s something for everyone.

Our next Pie Sunday is coming up on Sunday 27th September at La Bouche!

Join us for a proper Sunday comfort-food fix — a delicious homemade pie served with all the trimmings for £17.50 per person.

Autumn is here, the days are getting cooler and it’s officially comfort food season.

So we thought it was the perfect time to bring back one of our favourites at La Bouche — Pie Sunday.

Proper homemade pies, served with all the trimmings — hearty, comforting food that’s made for a cosy autumn Sunday.

📣 WE’RE HIRING!

We’re looking for someone to join our lovely team at La Bouche at the Fort! ☕️🍴

This is a weekend position and would suit someone who is friendly, reliable, hardworking and enjoys being around people.

We’re a small, close-knit team with a really friendly atmosphere. We work hard when we’re busy, but we also have a laugh and genuinely want everyone to enjoy coming to work. ❤️

The role will include all the usual café duties — serving customers, taking orders, making drinks, clearing tables, helping keep everything clean and tidy and generally mucking in wherever needed.

Previous café/hospitality experience would be great, but it’s not essential — we’re much more interested in finding the right person with a good attitude who is willing to learn.
