🤔 I don’t really believe in online courses.
❤️I used to think exactly the same, which is why, for a long time, I only offered private 1-to-1 classes. And yes, they were a wonderful experience. Not cheap, but genuinely wonderful. I loved those classes too, especially seeing my students’ faces when everything finally clicked. The dopamine was through the roof.
❤️Five hours of baking macarons, filling them, chatting away, with a little smooth jazz playing in the background. Everything felt so relaxed. It really was lovely.
And then you go home.🏠
Where my hand is no longer there to guide yours, and your oven is the one that came with the house. Suddenly, starting again with a different mixer feels a little scary.
The chances of things going wrong increase simply because you’re in a different kitchen.
How many failed batches would it take before you decided you were never making macarons again? Three? Eight? They’re very good at testing your patience, believe me. 😁
Now, imagine we started in your kitchen from day one. Yes, without the jazz, but we’ve already figured out your oven, your mixer and your setup. We might even have adjusted the recipe to suit your equipment and preferences.
❤️Your chances of success are already looking a lot better, and we’ve only just begun!
👌Then comes the practice. Not five hours and two batches, but as much as you need. I have students who bake once a week, and others who bake three times a day. Both approaches work beautifully.
❤️The biggest advantage is that I can be there for you for more than just five hours of an in-person class. I can be there almost all the time. Now, I probably shouldn’t admit quite so publicly that my “almost” means “almost 24/7”… but I’m genuinely proud of the support I give my students.
🤫 And I haven’t even told you about the video consultation, the troubleshooting, or the emotional support included in the online course. Yes, emotional support. We are dealing with macarons, after all. 😁
❤️So, do my students actually get results from an online course?
Oh, absolutely!
Many of them have long since surpassed me with their achievements, their markets and even their new full-time businesses. And it makes me so happy to know that I played a small part in one of the steps along their incredibly hardworking journey. ♥️
Girls, if you’re reading this, I’m sending you all the biggest hug. I brag about you all the time! ♥️
Anyway, before I make this post any longer, here’s the short version: five hours of an in-person class versus ongoing support for around three months online. The price has almost halved, and you don’t even have to leave your house.
If you’re ready to give online learning a chance, I promise you won’t regret it. 👌
♥️ If you’ve been thinking about macaron course and would like to know a little more, now is the perfect time to ask me all your questions. Just send me a message, and I’ll be more than happy to talk you through everything and help you decide if it’s the right fit for you. 🥰
