That's the end of yet another busy Sunday shift. Just short of 400 meals today😲. Also, we said goodbye to a long standing staff member. We wish him well in his new job.👏👏. Thank you as always to each person who walks through our doors to support us. We couldn't do this without you. 👍😀

So, its August Bank Holiday already 😲 Our book is filling fast for tomorrow, my advise.. call 01248 450232 ASAP if you would like to guarantee a table. Once we're full, we're full.

We are open today from 12pm. Unfortunately though, the element on the Carvery that broke on Monday 😪, isn't being replaced until later today, so for now it'll be Main menus and specials only. We have a seperate Grill menu also so something for everyone. Carvery will be bk up and running(🙏) either later today or tomorrow. Please be kind if you are waiting longer than usual for meals today. We are doing our absolute best in what is a very testing time for us.😊 Thank you. Val n team.

We may be closed..I may have a badly sprained ankle..but, Pub life goes on behind the scenes. 💪
Back to normal opening hours tomorrow 12pm.
Clean Lines, clean pub, good food and fantastic staff, what more could you ask for eh. ps..il be the one with a limp 🤣🤣

Customer Notice.. I dont really want to be posting this at all, but..we will be closed tomorrow and weds 25th/26th Aug. We struggled tonight with service, and so did our customers, having to wait silly times for food. Its not how we work here, and im not happy about it. We are ridiculously short staffed at the moment, due to illnesses and a couple of injuries, including myself and the head chef😪. Our other Chef (bloody hero💪) needs 2 days off so hes fighting fit for Bank Holiday weekend .
Im gutted, but I'd rather do it this way than suffer the complaint we'd probably get otherwise. Im quite a straight talking woman so I'd rather be honest.
We really appreciate your understanding and will be back on Thursday at 12pm ready to smash it.💪💪

Wow!!!!Just short of 400 meals done again , some fantastic feedback from lovely customers (especially about the staff, and the Beef )🙏 We were extremely short staffed today😬😬🤪🤪 but my god did all Staff pull together to make it work 💪💪. Cai ginge, your a legend mate 👏👏. As ever, thanks to all our customers,old and new. Much appreciated 👏. Val .
