Summer Snippets • Ice, Spice, Vibes • Cardamom & Collabs

Dive into a sunshine filled summer, our best & busiest summer yet!

Mango lassi led the way for our summer signature drinks and many milk foam moustaches were worn!
We’re still pouring these all September, so get the ice in your cup quick!

Desi kitchen dishes got a full refresh with brighter flavours, lighter sizzlers and scrumptious sauces. Seaview Inn remains the hottest spot in Falmouth for full flavours after dark!

Community filled our hearts with homely Eid celebrations, cook outs, beach swims & socials.
We supported Shakeout for their growing It’s Not A Race event and made more friends along the way.

We welcomed you all to the Cardamom Club with the launch of our new Situ merch, sharing the story of our favourite spice and signature flavours far & wide.

Ending our summer with our Kelp Canteen collaboration. Bringing our modern Indian flavours & flare to the fishy dishes of their seafood shack. A suitably moody Cornish evening brightened up with bold flavours & big laughs…

Join The Crew • Barista & Host • September Start

A rare opportunity to join the Situ crew has arisen.
We’re a small team and now looking for a friendly barista & host, for 3-4 days per week (plus events), for a permanent, year-round role.

Ideally you’ll have…
minimum one year speciality coffee experience, flexibility for mid-week & weekends and customer experience focus. Be a dynamic, talented individual with bags of character.
As a foodie spot, we hope you’ll be passionate about produce & flavour, have a pro-active approach & high energy for our growing cafe.

What we offer…
3-4 days per week, plus events (weekend & occasional evening flexibility required). Bottomless coffee & food on shift. Sociable working hours, staff discounts and opportunities for SCA training.
We maintain an approachable, supportive working environment, offer year round employment & progression within a growing brand.

Whole spices form the bases of aromatic flavours and in Indian culture they’re always added and never removed!
Legend has it that a young .chef once popped the cardamom pod back in the pot from his plate and hasn’t lived it down to this day.

Harnessing this subtle pod, packed full of warmth, sweetness, florality and flavour.
It’s our favourite signature spice and can be found infused, sprinkled, baked and cooked throughout Situ dishes.
If you love Situ, you love cardamom too. Whether you know it or not, you can rep it with our Cardamom Communi-tee…

The innocence of youth, started a life long curiosity, a passion for produce, learning, creating, cooking and tasting. A passion that is engrained in Situ and shared amongst the team.

We recently took a little trip to Loveland (Falmouth Food Co-op) to see the beautiful produce first hand. An opportunity to see, smell, pick, taste & connect to our most local supplier and share our gratitude for their hard work this hot summer.

The sun arrived perfectly on time to pair with our new Iced Vanilla Rooibos Tea with added Cardamom cold foam - because why not?!

Ugandan brews are back with this Muki Fruity number from Carter roasters, Edinburgh. Bringing the summer brightness, all month, with a tart limey top note, creamy body and spiced finished.

An anaerobic natural process, gives lots of funky complexity and versatility, whether you preferred it as a short black or flat white - you’ll be coming back for another.

If batch is your tipple, you’ll find a Kenyan, Peaberry varietal in your cup. A washed process giving citrusy, buttery and forest fruit flavours, making it easy drinking, anytime of day.

Ask for a feature espresso when ordering and pick up a bag of beans for your home brews too!

It’s officially iced brews season and do we have sensational Situ line up for you! As ever, we’re led by the seasons and curate each brew to perfection…

Cardamom Cloud Coffee - cold foam infused with our favourite spice, floating on top of espresso cold brew & finished with a sprinkle of sea salt.

Blood Orange Espresso Tonic - the classic is back but with a twist. Seasonal fruit syrups - made in-house, espresso cold brew & Cornish tonic. Zesty, refreshing chocolate orange goodness!

Situ Mango Lassi - kesar mango pulp, cardamom infused yogurt and a little floral touch. Served ice cold, slushy style, year round!

Foraged Cordial Soda’s - we’re making the most of natures goodness and brewing seasonal house cordials. Starting off with nettles and soon switching to elderflower and fermented strawberry.

Don’t worry - you can still get your iced flat white’s & lattes, but why not give your tastebuds the Situ treatment!

Another bank holiday weekend is here and we’ve got you covered!

We’re supporting celebrate 30 Years in Falmouth with an Iced Brew’s & Saffron Buns Pop up. Catch us in store, on Saturday from 9:30 - pouring a special Salted Chai Cold Foam Coffee!

If you haven’t tried the new Situ Bakes - head down this weekend and pair it with an Iced Flat White, using all new cold brew concentrate.

Brunch service in full swing from 9 - 3, as ever.
Our chefs have picked their favourites…chef loves the Curried Leek Rarebit - with layers of spiced leeks, creamy cheese, tangy pickles & sweet chilli.
opts for the spicy & hearty Keema Mayai Pav - spiced lamb mince & pea curry, seasonal kachumber, chaat fried egg & buttery brioche.
