Festive Closure • 22 Dec - 04 Jan • Seasons Greetings

Just like that, another year flys by and our annual festive break is back! We’ll be closed for two weeks to share brews, food & time with friends & family.

2025 has been a blast & the year ahead promises to be better still!
We launched our Desi Kitchen Collab , .chef hit the stages of local food festivals, more community connected to culture with sell out dinners & the cafe hosted the biggest Christmas party to date.

Thank you for all the support! Whilst 2026 looks to challenge hospitality further and we hope you keeping coming back for more!

We’ll be back on Monday 05 Jan, with the usual great brews & brunch.

Festivities Incoming • Christmas Brews • Sprouting Specials

Put down the choccy and pick up a Christmas coffee, with our two new seasonal brews.
Christmas Blend brings together Brazilian & Ethiopian beans, tasting like stewed plums, macadamia & cocoa.
Das Almas - our new house for the darker months, a chocolatey cherry bakewell flat white from a natural Brazilian.

We’ll be indulging in festive treats for the month too… think Mince Pie crumbles, fruity Panettones, Sprout bhajia and Cheese & chutney plates!

Our retail shelves are stocked with your Situ faves & the best of local artisans.

Feature Espresso • El Indio, Colombia • Golden Tropics

When slurping these beans at our last Community Coffee Tasting, it was a stand out favourite and we dreamt of juicy brews.

Our friends over at have impeccable taste and longstanding coffee excellence so here it is, in the hopper! A natural process Colombian, that is bright golden, has tropical acidity with a deep warmth of orange and rounded wine body.
Think the colours of autumn leaves, smell of tropical rain pours and the warmth of the coming winter sun.

Ask for a feature espresso when ordering - best as a cortado or flat white. Pouring for the rest of November (or until it’s gone), before we look to rich Christmas blends.

🪔 Happy Diwali • ✨ Celebrating Light ✨ • Happy Int. Chefs Day 👨🏽‍🍳

We welcomed the festivities with our fourth annual Diwali Dinner yesterday. Lighting diya to welcome guests, sharing the story of Diwali and connecting over a modern Gujarati feast.

It’s always a pleasure to recreate traditional snacks and dishes from our heritage with amazing produce from & . The perfect way to showcase the last of summer aubergine & tomatoes and welcome autumnal squashes, brassicas & shrooms.

Huge appreciate & celebrations to our chefs .chef & on International Chef’s Day.

Banana Bread has become a staple of our counter and sells out most days!
We’ve given it an upgrade with 70% crémeux and seasonal berries.

Think banana black forest gâteux - don’t knock until you’ve tasted it and no doubt you’ll end up sharing it too!
