We began in 2006 with Dehlia and Primrose, our first Tamworth piglets. Situated in the beautiful countryside of Hutton in the Forest, they are now our most cherished and experienced breeding sows. Our smallholding grew into a business through our love of farming and our desire to produce the quality of food achievable through our high standard of welfare in our livestock. We are a family run busin

ess, headed by Richard Nettleton and Lydia Burns. Richard is an experienced farmer and now a qualified agronomist. Lydia has always had a love for animals and manages the day to day care of the livestock. Also, as an artist, she has found a passion for combining the animals with her art, developing a range of products exclusive to Brackenfell.
