Join us on Sunday 1st March for our sought after Butchery and Sausage making course! It runs 10am-4pm and is being held at Brasted Village Hall.

It will have a maximum of 8 people and you will learn to break down a deer, have a sit down venison lunch with wine and beer before making your own sausages!

You will come home with plenty of venison to treat the family or show off your new knowledge of deer to your friends.

It is a great day for yourself or a perfect gift for your friends or family.

We had an amazing turnout for our last butchery course, with a diverse group of people who all had a blast learning deer butchery and taking home the meat. If you're interested in learning to butcher or make sausages, join us for the final course of the season on Sunday, March 1st in Westerham. You'll learn to break down a carcass, enjoy a venison lunch, and make sausages in the afternoon, taking home 1/8th of a deer.

It's the final market of the year, I'm at the until 3pm with lots of cuts diced and sausages.

Specials today are family packs of diced, 2kg for £30 and chipolata sausages.

There are also plenty of cuts for wellingtons, everything up to 20 people.

If you can't make it to the market it's not to late to place an order for delivery before Christmas.

Christmas is only 3 weeks away, we have plenty of backstrap ready for the main meal with portions from 2 to 20 people and everything in between.

Backstrap makes for a perfect wellington, just remember to insulate well and use a meat thermometer for the best results.

Christmas markets have begun and we have a busy week ahead.

Thursday, 2-9, The red barn, lingfield.
Friday, 5:30-8:30, Hospice in the Weald.
Saturday, 10-4, Hospice in the Weald.
Saturday, 12-3, Hazelwood school, Hurst Green.
Saturday, 10-4:30, Soper hall, Caterham.
Sunday, 10-4, Hospice in the Weald.

We will have a good stock of diced for winter casseroles and pies, sausages and cuts for Christmas day.

We are at the caterham food festival today 10-4pm with hot food, burgers, sausages and steak ciabattas.

We also have the usual supply of frozen, sausages, burgers, mince, diced, 1-9 person cuts.

Today I am supporting the Oxted RNLI fundraising fair, 10-1pm, I have plenty of venison as well as the tea/cake, plants, jams and lots of other things on offer.

Not long now until our final butchery course of the year, watch the video for a taste of what the day involves. We start with a whole carcass, learning how to turn that into kitchen ready cuts. Then have a venison based lunch, afterwards we make sausages with everyone taking home what they made.
