I need a favour!

If you have been following this page for a while, you'll know we are trying to build a little something more than just a pub.

We would like to build a place people enjoy being a part of.

Now I need a few more lovely people to help us do that

We're currently looking for:
Front of House Team Members
Front of House Supervisor
Housekeeper
Experienced Chef

I can't promise every shift will be normal.

Some days we'll be rushed off our feet.

Some days you'll inadvertently find yourself stuck in a ridiculous conversation or discovering the many treats Chef Pius comes up with.

You'll learn more than you would probably imagine, make friends you weren't expecting and if you're carrying plates, quickly discover that trying to point someone in the direction of the toilets is a terrible idea (definitely not said from experience)

I'm not looking for a perfect CV, I am looking for good, kind people who want to be a part of what we are building.

I often wonder what these old walls have seen..

Over the centuries they'e watched travellers come and go, hosted weddings, celebrations and likely witnessed a few very questionable haircuts.

Local legend says they have also been home to Charlie for much longer than they've been home to me.

These days, every bark from Diesel is usually followed by,

The Coach isn't just where I work.

It's my home.

That's why I always want it to feel less like a restaurant and more like somewhere people can settle in for a few hours.

Of course it starts with what's on the plate....and trust me, it's pretty special. But my favourite part of Sunday has always been what happens around it. The conversations that run longer than expected, another round of drinks that no one planned, and people leaving a little later than they meant to because nobody was quite ready to go.

If you've never joined us for a Sunday before, we'd love to welcome you home for the afternoon.

This heatwave definitely has its own sense of humour.

The glasswasher and ice machine have just handed their notice in.

We've accidentally discovered the maximum occupancy of the walk in fridge.

And I've personally consumed enough water to fill the Thames.

We're melting, but let's be honest, the second it starts raining again, we will all have something to say about that as well.

If you're melting too, come and join us for a cold drink.
