There has been lots of changes and adjustments over the last few weeks-Alex moving to Cardiff, Sam moving over to focusing on his Roxy Music Tribute(watch this space!)recruiting new staff, upstairs getting a facelift and me learning Cellar Skills!!(Thankyou to Jen & The Black Horse!) But I feel I am now getting on top of things and so am starting off my day by baking brownies, having a cuppa and a sit down! ❤️
We also now have a brilliant helper with our emails(have you seen our new look?!) And have a Tik Tok account! 🤣 I am not sure what this means but all will become clear in the next few months! haha..
Thankyou to all our customers who have continued dropping in for Tapas, a chat and offering hugs and supportive words. It means a lot..and thank you also to my AMAZING bunch of staff..many of whom have stepped up and are learning at the speed of light! I don't have pics of everyone which they are probably relieved about!..but here is our main kitchen team..Me, Alle & Emma.
We are open today from 5pm..and tomorrow welcome NEW folk duo 'ilk'(absolutely love them!) at Lunchtime from 12pm! They'll be busking outside(Folk Festival Spirit)and we'll have the door or window open so you can hear.. for people eating inside..

My eldest son Alex Grime who many will recognise from Tapas & Tunes is leaving us to head to Cardiff University to study Chemistry this week. Alex has been with me from the start(nearly 5 years!!) and will be greatly missed..but will be back in the hols for his Tapas fix..and hopefully a few shifts! We wish him the very best and know he will have a fab time!! Hers's a few pics from his leaving party ❤️
