A little slice of English summer in cake form 🌿🌼

This beautiful floral-inspired wedding cake was created to complement the gorgeous countryside setting of Bore Place in Kent — soft sage buttercream, colourful wildflower-inspired details and plenty of texture, finished with the sweetest bride and groom topper.

I love wedding cakes that feel like they belong to the day rather than simply sitting on the table, and this one was all about meadow flowers, soft summer colours and that beautifully relaxed country-garden feel. 🌸

From the tiny hand-piped flowers and delicate greenery to those gorgeous ruffled buttercream borders, every detail was designed to bring the floral theme through the cake - fun cake toppers supplied by the bride & groom ❤️❤️

It’s been a very busy summer of weddings and I have dropped the ball on posting all of the lovely wedding cakes that I have made.

This 3 tier heart shaped buttercream iced Lambeth wedding cake was delivered to Mulberry House in Essex for the new Mr & Mrs O’Brien. Thank you very much for choosing me to create your wedding cake, I hope you had a wonderful wedding day.

This wedding cake was made up of 3 different flavoured sponge cakes, iced with buttercream as one rectangular wedding cake, and decorated with fresh organic edible flowers.

Benedicte & Arthur’s wedding cake is one of my favourite Lambeth cakes, it just looked soo delicious with the cherries 🍒 as decoration - and shouldn’t all cakes look thoroughly delicious.
