Just to let you know I have shut down the Eastside curry website. I am concentrating on Orkney Medieval Archery Experience.

I’m afraid I won’t be operating Eastside Curry this winter. The Archery Range and upcoming Black Powder experience is working out and my personal preference is to be a Medieval Archer/ECW musketeer rather than an Indian Chef.

But let me thank you for your custom and there is a real opportunity here for someone with some flair and cooking ability.

It was fun whilst it lasted.

Hi everyone.

I’m afraid I have to cancel the takeaway evening at Burray Stores on Friday 20th. May.

I have a cold (definitely not Covid) and as such am unable to prepare, cook and serve food for public consumption because of the transference of germs.

I am very sorry as I know a lot of people were looking forward to it. ☹️

We will rearrange this for another date.

Here is our Take away menu for Friday 6pm - 9pm at Seaview stores Burray.

I’m sorry there is no pre ordering available. Turn up on the evening. We are making about 80 main dishes and when it’s gone it’s gone. 😀

Sea view stores will be open for purchases of alcohol and will have a bargain Indian beer for sale on the night.

On Friday 20th MAY Eastside curry will be operating an Indian Takeaway Service from Burray Village Stores Seaview Stores from 6pm - 9.30pm

Our Menu

Onion Bhajis (freshly cooked) with a mint raita £3.50

Tandoori Chicken (a full breast and a thigh of Scottish free range chicken 🐓) served with a small mixed salad, caramelised onions and mint raita. £8.50

Beef Madras - orkney raised beef cooked in an intense tomato sauce with medium chilli heat, £8.00

Halloumi, chickpea and spinach Curry cooked in coconut milk - medium heat £7.50

Papads .50
Pickles and Chutneys .70
Naans £2.00
Chapatis £1.00

Kheer (Indian Rice Pudding) with a mango purée £3.50

Pilau Rice £2.00

The off licence and shop will remain open and there will be an iced bucket of chilled Cobra Beers at a special Curry Night Price 😀

Hopefully this will become a regular monthly thing…….

We’re looking forward to seeing you tonight at 6pm for our Indian Feast at Cromarty Hall 🇮🇳 🍛 😋

There are a couple of small changes to the menu and there will be doggie boxes to take home anything you can’t manage.

You are welcome to have all the dishes - it’s a feast right 😂 and all home made.

Whilst we are currently closed for our cook and delivery service until October our outside catering service is still open and keen to cater for you and your friends with an Indian Banquet from £25.00 per head (minimum of 10 people).
We are able to supply table service, tables chairs table decorations, cutlery plates and glasses. All you need supply is alcohol and a marquee/tent if you require one.
