Number 9 Market Place is an independent bakery and deli located in the centre of Oakham. We serve freshly made sandwiches, rolls, baguettes, salad bowls, breakfast rolls, artisan bread, homemade cakes, pastries and quality barista coffee. We also offer catering platters for meetings, events and special occasions. As a dog-friendly bakery, we re proud to stock our own Life of Riley Dog Bakery with

naturally grain-free, non-allergenic treats. Whether you re looking for breakfast, lunch, coffee with friends or something sweet, we look forward to welcoming you to Number 9 Market Place.

Well, here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek! 🎥✨

Our Doggy Éclairs are made with lots of care (and a little bit of love from Life of Riley ❤️🐾), before being finished and ready for your four-legged friends to enjoy!

We absolutely LOVE seeing all the happy faces — and wagging tails — when the doggy treats come out! 🥰🐕

Because our furry customers deserve a little something special too! 🐾❤️

🚴‍♂️☕️ LOOK WHO ROLLED INTO NUMBER 9 YESTERDAY! ☕️🚴‍♂️

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming these lovely gentlemen from the FOC group yesterday! 👏🏻

They had cycled all the way from Loughborough to Oakham and back as part of their round trip — and obviously, no good cycle ride is complete without a well-earned stop at Number 9 Market Place! 😋☕️🥐

They popped in for some refreshments, a good old natter and, we hope, a little bit of fuel for the journey home! 💪🏻🚴‍♂️

We had a bit of a giggle about what FOC actually stands for…

🤣 FULL OF CAKE! 🤣🍰

Although looking at these guys, we’re thinking they probably had room for a few more cakes before heading home! 😂

Thank you so much for choosing to stop with us, gentlemen. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you all, and we hope to see you back at Number 9 on another ride! ❤️
