Free Solar Discovery Evening - Hosted by GJM Energy

Take Control of Your Energy Future

If you’re confused by solar, battery storage or rising electricity costs, you’re not alone.
With electricity prices increasing recently in July by a whopping 13%, and inflation officially at an all-time high in UK, more homeowners are asking the same question:
“What can I actually do about it?”
That’s exactly why we’re hosting another FREE Solar Discovery Day.

This isn’t a sales seminar. Our goal is for you to leave feeling well informed.
It’s an educational evening designed to help local homeowners understand how solar and battery storage really works, what it costs, how much you could save and whether it’s actually right for your home.

Why this event is different
We’re hosting the event at The Woodman Inn, where GJM Energy has recently completed a Solar & Battery installation.
You’ll be able to see a real working system, including:
☀️ High-performance solar panels
🔋 Battery storage system
⚡ Live equipment demonstrations
It’s an opportunity to see a genuine installation up close, ask questions and understand exactly how everything works.

Hosted by Gavin Matthews
Owner of GJM Energy

With more than 100 genuine 5-star reviews, Gavin has built one of the strongest local reputations across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire by putting education before sales.
No scripts.
No commission-driven salespeople.
Just honest advice from someone who installs these systems every day.

During the Evening you’ll discover:
• How solar and battery storage actually work
• Whether your home is suitable
• Typical installation costs
• Expected payback periods
• Common mistakes homeowners make
• Export tariffs and earning from excess electricity
• Battery technology explained simply
• Answers to all of your questions
Included:
☕ Tea

Join us for a thrilling evening of strategy, suspicion and sabotage in this interactive social game where deception is the key to victory.

At the start of the evening, one person from every table will be secretly chosen as The Traitor. While teams compete in a series of fun mini challenges to earn points, The Traitor will be working quietly behind the scenes to sabotage the group.

If you are The Traitor, your mission is simple, mislead your team mates, disrupt the challenges, and secretly eliminate players without being discovered. Throughout the night, players must debate, accuse and vote to banish who they believe is working against them. Be careful…trust the wrong person and your team could lose everything.

Banished from the table? The game isn’t over! The banished players become “The Rejects Team”, who still have the chance to compete and potentially steal the final victory.

Recommend age 16+. Please note that if you are in a group of 3 and under, you will be put on a shared table with other patrons.

Nutwood Network is a community-based business networking group. In partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Nutwood Network aims to empower local entrepreneurs, provide business advice and guidance to existing, new, or aspiring business owners. This is an opportunity to meet in friendly and informal surroundings, to exchange ideas and referrals, and to become a part of a wider business network.

With a focus on local services and suppliers, we aim to build relationships through referrals, mutual assistance and recommendations. Nutwood Network will provide a platform from which members will be able to access and trade with a far wider range of local individuals and organisations than they may normally be able to reach. While businesses come in all shapes and sizes, driving sales and expanding the customer base are invariably common denominators; being part of a vibrant, innovative and likeminded networking group can really help to open doors and drive profitable growth.

Nutwood Networking is free to join, regardless of the size or function of your organisation. Regular Networking attendees are offered a complimentary quarter-page advert in our bi-monthly Nutwood Community Newsletter (subject to content and availability). For details of upcoming speakers, speaking opportunities and featured businesses, please email us or visit our LinkedIn page.

We are partnered with FSB and Just Women Network.
