Everyone who turns up to run, walk and/or volunteer at parkrun is a total winner as far as we're concerned, but we must highlight one remarkable parkrun performance from yesterday's event. Our men's course record was broken by Harry Wakefield from Salford Harriers, with a time of 14 minutes 44 seconds!!

This beats the old record of 15.29, which stood for nearly 13 years. Congratulations to Harry! Really impressive.

Most of us will never set a record, but everyone who participates becomes part of the story and spirit of Forest Rec. See you next week!
