THE HIGHS & LOWS OF RUNNING A SMALL BUSINESS 💔

I never thought I’d have to write a post like this, but I feel I need to be honest about what’s been happening behind the scenes.

At Tea & Sympathy, we give our absolute all to every part of our business — from the quality of our food and ingredients to the service we provide. ❤️

I started this woman-owned local business during lockdown, alongside my full-time job, and have spent years building it with hard work, love and dedication.

Until now, we have never received genuine negative feedback.

Recently, I’ve received negative reviews from people whose names I don’t recognise and who I have no record of ever ordering from us. I therefore believe these reviews are fake and intended to damage my business.

I’ve also been receiving abusive late-night calls, including around 11pm, and repeated No Caller ID calls. I strongly suspect the same person may be behind both.

This is now impacting my business, and as a small business, our reputation means everything.

If you’ve ever ordered from us and enjoyed your experience, please consider leaving us an honest review. ⭐️ Our review link is in our story.

A like, comment, share, recommendation or simply interacting with our posts helps more than you realise. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Tea & Sympathy. 🫶

Please support small. Support local. Support women in business. ❤️

And to the person behind the reviews and calls: please stop
