Some clumsy pics I managed to take at the very first large event we catered 😍 we were asked to make and deliver 250 pastries for a 150 people event at the John Innes Centre in Norwich, it was such a nice venue too!

From left to right:

- Chocolate & hazelnut ci**rs (dipped in cinnamon honey)
- Gazelle horns (almond and orange blossom)
- Makroudh (date and toasted sesame)
- Boussou La Tmessou (soft and crumbly lemon shortbread)

All available to order on our website or via DM 🧡

Needless to say it was a lot of work for a one-person operation, I baked every single day after work and got lots of help from my partner and my bestie ❤️
Honestly making it work around my other full-time job was challenging but now that I’ve done it I feel like I can take on anything 💪🏼

Thank you so much for your trust, what an incredible milestone this is for Maghrebi! 🧡

We’re back at the Goat Shed Independent Market this Saturday, the 25th July! 🐐☀️

The temperatures may be more reasonable this time around, but we’re still very much in a summery kind of mood here, as reflected in this new menu 😍 This time you’ll find our ever-popular Makroudh (can never go wrong with a classic) and the Tunisian citronnade everyone raved about at our last event 🍋

But we’re also introducing options we haven’t offered before, like Kalb El Louz (which has been my favourite Algerian treat for as long as I can remember) and Boussou La Tmessou, literally translating to “kiss him without touching him” because of how delicate they are ✨

Finally, our Zaalouk is returning to our menu to make the most of tasty summer vegetables 🍆🍅

Come and find us at the Goat Shed, Colton Road, Honingham

another great market done, this time in Aylsham! it was my first time visiting Aylsham and i will definitely be back, the people there were so kind and very open-minded ❤️ we sold out of both mhadjeb and lemonade about two hours before the end of the market which feels like such an accomplishment 🥹

we will definitely be back for the International Street Food Fair next year, thank you for having us!

in the meantime, we’ll see you at the Goat Shed on the 25th of July 🐐 menu will be shared next week!

from left to right: mhadjeb, pizza carré and baghrir

Last weekend’s order 🧡
I had such a great time putting this order together for a lovely new client who found us via our website!

The order included:
- A mixed dip platter with slata mechouia, omek houria, our house hummus and kesra (Algerian flatbread)
- Moroccan salad
- A rolled aubergine and lentil kefta tagine of my own creation, with khobz dar to scoop it up
- Gazelle horns (which she said she hadn’t eaten since visiting Morocco in the 70s!)

I got so caught up in the cooking that I completely forgot to take pics of the tagine, typical! But I promise it looked and tasted incredible 🥰 (ignore the solidified olive oil on the dips please 🤣)

Thank you to this lovely customer and to everyone who has placed an order or come to one of our events, your trust in me and in Maghrebi means everything 🧡

If you’d like to place a catering order, get in touch via the link in bio or send us a DM 💌
