No 8 Burgers – The 8th wonder of the world! This place has been around a few years now, but I only just tried it. So many rave reviews – lets see what the fuss is all about

Smoky BBQ Mustard Burger
2 smash patties with turkey rashers BBQ mustard sauce. Great balance of smoky BBQ flavour and mustard. The patties were juicy, the bun held everything together well, and the flavours complemented each other - probably one of the best burgers in Norwich

Chica Chick Burger
fried buttermilk chicken with spicy sauce, cheese and pickle. Crispy on the outside and tender inside. Good size and flavours - another great burger

Buffalo Wings
Nicely cooked, with a kick but wasn’t overwhelming. Good texture with a slight crisp on the outside

Honey BBQ Strips
Tender chicken with a sweet, smoky glaze. The strips were big. The sauce wasn’t too heavy and coated the strips well. Easy to eat and full of flavour

BBQ Wings
Rich BBQ flavour with a slightly sweet finish. Well-sauced and cooked properly. A good option if you prefer something without spice

Cheesey Donner
This comes in the Fusion box – Juicy donner meat with melted cheese throughout. Filling and flavourful without being too greasy

Cheese Jalapeño Poppers
Crispy exterior with a creamy cheese filling. The jalapeño added a mild heat that balanced nicely with the cheese. These were okay

Chocolate Milkshake
Thick and smooth with a strong chocolate flavour. Not too sweet, and a good match alongside the savoury food. Highly recommend

Sweet Potato Fries
Crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Lightly seasoned and a good side option overall. Probably better eating in than getting this takeaway

Verdict
So glad I tried this place. The burgers are fantastic. I look forward to trying their other ones out. The wings are great – are they the best wings in Norwich – I let you guys decide that. I give them 9.5/10

I was invited to the grand opening of , and the experience was a delicious tour through comforting desi flavours with a few standout surprises.

Aloo Parata
A great start soft, well-seasoned, and tasty even without the yogurt dip. The dip added a cool contrast, but the parata was flavourful enough to shine on its own.

Halwa Puri
A classic done right. The halwa was sweet and smooth, and the puri had the perfect texture not oily, not soggy, just crisp and enjoyable.

Samosa Chaat
The superstar of the meal. Bursting with flavour, textures, and a satisfying spicy kick, it brought everything you’d want from a chaat - freshness, crunch, and heat.

Mixed Kebab Roll
Really good and surprisingly great value for money. Simple, flavourful, and filling.

Bombay Twister Wrap
Out of the two wraps, this one easily came out on top. Crispy, delicious, and packed with crispy chicken, it had the perfect balance of flavour and texture.

Loaded Chicken Tikka Chips
Tasty on its own with tender chicken and well-spiced chips, though it didn’t pair as naturally with the rest of the items, it felt more like a standalone street-food pick.

English-ish Breakfast
A hearty favourite with a twist. The masala beans, sausages, and the rest of the breakfast items came together brilliantly - comforting, flavourful, and satisfying.

Pani Puri
Light, spicy, and refreshing. The spice level was spot-on and made for a fun snack between the heavier dishes.

Karak Coffee
Chaiiwala’s signature and rightfully so. Rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. A must-try.

Mango Lassi
Thick, refreshing, and the perfect cooling partner to the spicier dishes.

Final verdict
So glad that Chaiiwala is in Norwich. I think so many have been waiting patiently for it, and the wait is worth it. So many options on the menu. 8.5/9

2025 seemed like the year of the wings (and jacket potatoes). Wings shops were popping up everywhere especially in Norwich. The latest newbie is .winging.it . They specialise in wings and loaded tots and have won multiple awards for their buffalo wings. These guys are located in for 3 months. Yalm have loads of pop up restaurants – you sit down and can order from any of the restaurants.

Disclaimer: Just Winging It have bacon crumbs (garnish only) on some of their items however, these items can be ordered without the bacon crumbs. Ensure you advise the team when ordering.

Buffalo Soldier wings - this flavour is understandably award winning. The buffalo sauce has a depth to the flavour and probably the best buffalo wings I’ve had. Plenty of sauce on the wings, packed full of flavour but not too spicy. Definitely recommend these and I will be going back for more!

Barbie-Q-Girl wings – fantastic BBQ flavours. Ensure to ask for no bacon

Truffle butter wings – garlic buttery taste. Very nice indeed Can ask for no parmesan.

I’ve become so Nam tenders - the caramel and coriander gives it a unique, delicious, East Asian flavour. A mix between sweet and savoury. Very flavourful and the toppings really add to the overall taste.

Sweet Caroline tenders – sweet bbq mustard twist with crispy onions and sesame seeds garnish.

The tots - perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would definitely get these again. Even the plain tots were delicious and a nice side to get if you’re having wings full of flavour.

BBQ loaded tots – these were fantastic. Such full of flavour. Ensure to ask for no bacon

Cheese bites - these were unexpectedly delicious. Gooey mozarella - just look at that cheese pull!

I love the fact that the wings and tenders are drenched in the sauce. This is how wings should be served. I will definitely be going back but need to be quick as they’re only in Yalm for 3 months, and then who knows where else they will be pop up.

10 Wings roulette
Double jointed wings so you get 20 wings. Each are randomly flavoured so you wont know which one you are about to eat – could be hot, could be mild, could be garlic. These were cooked to perfection and the various flavours tasted great. I still stand that they are great as a side to share out.

Juicy Stack burger
Two grill thighs, cheese, onion ring and comeback sauce. This was huge. This was fantastic. Was not spicy. The sauce tasted so good. One of the thighs fell off, so I had that separately dipped in the gravy (which was amazing). I highly recommend this burger.

Buttermilk Bun
Fried chicken, garlic, slaw, pickles. This was on the small side but I guess it looked small next to the juicy stack. This tasted nice but I still prefer the juicy stack.

Nashville Loaded Fries
Nashville flavoured crispy chicken, cheese sauce, comeback sauce, red onion. Huge so def get it to share. Their chips are always nicely cooked. This was decent however I think their crispy loaded fries with Cook Asia sweet chilli sauce is better.

Mac & Cheese
Bite size mac and cheese wrapped breadcrumb. This was tasty and went nice with the dip. However you only get 2 though.

Halloumi Wedges
Fried halloumi sticks. These were as expected and very nice

Dips
They have so many dips – best dips are: comeback sauce, garlic ranch, cluck’naise, sweet chilli.

Drinks
Cookie dough milkshake – this was so good and refreshing
Soda fountain – unlimited fizzy drinks – why not.

Cookie dough
It was nicely cooked but I think the caramel sauce ruined it. Too much and overpowered.

Oh no, not another chicken shop!! Well this one is a bit different. Top G Wings - think of a mix between KFC and Wingstop – the crispy crunchiness of the colonel infused with various choice of flavours.

This is the second branch opening after the success of their first one in Mildenhall. The restaurant is located on St Augustine’s St where the old swimming pool used to be. The inside is nice, slick and modern, and I love the big bird logo.
I ordered my food on the phone, but they don’t start cooking until you arrive. This means the food is fresh for the customer.

Wings/strips
The wings itself were crispy and a decent size – not too small. They held the various flavours very well. The strips are slightly bigger and crunchy.
Garlic Parmesan - had buttery garlic taste with a hint of salt and tanginess from the cheese.
Red Dragon – sweet and sour with a spicy kick – probably my favourite flavour
Buffalo – drenched in tangy spicy sauce. Great for those love the spicy flavour
Satay – Satay curry sauce with peanut – I wasn’t a fan. They have so many better other flavours so I would stick to those

Fries
The fries were cooked well – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The garlic parmesan and the cheese fries options are excellent

Honey halloumi fries
Halloumi fries with honey drench on them. They were nice

Tex Mex wrap
Chicken strips in a wrap with cajun spice, cheese and jalapeno. This had nice flavour, especially if you like the spicy kick to it. I reckon the Tex mex wings will be nice and will give it a try next time

Hey honey burger
Thick chicken fillet dipped in honey with cheese and onion chutney. This was quite good. I had their burgers when they first opened but this time and didn’t rate it however this was an improvement and would recommend it.
