Over the past decade we have come to help our customers in Norwich experience authentic traditional Indian food. It may sound surprising but even with so many supposedly 'Indian restaurants', the truly authentic one's are few. We are now in Cambridge to bring this experience, the reality of Indian food to many more! Enjoy honest, tasty & quality food in a relaxed & colourful ambience that reflects the rustic charm of India. Our service is driven by knowledge from ancient Hindu scriptures, "Atithi Devo Bhava" meaning 'Guest is God' & comes as warm as our food with humble smile & care. Learn the secrets of Indian cooking at our Cookery School, bring Namaste to your own celebration with our outside catering, gather everyone together with private venue hire, or give someone an experience to look forward to with one of our gift experiences.

Then there’s Dosa on the Wall — our community initiative helping provide a hot meal for someone who needs one, with every guest contribution matched by us.

Today we celebrate one of Kerala’s most cherished festivals — a celebration of harvest, homecoming, abundance and community.

Onam brings families and friends together through beautiful traditions, from colourful Pookalam flower arrangements to music, festivities and, of course, the incredible Onam Sadya — a feast traditionally served on a banana leaf, bringing together an array of dishes and flavours.

At its heart, Onam is about togetherness, gratitude and sharing what we have with those around us — values that feel very close to everything we believe in at Namaste Village.

To everyone celebrating today, wherever you may be, we wish you a joyful and prosperous Onam.

The freedom to live, to dream, to build a future and to carry our culture with us wherever in the world we may call home.

India’s Independence Day is also a reminder to never forget where we came from, the sacrifices that gave us our freedom, and the values, traditions and stories that make us who we are.

We may travel far from our motherland, but our roots travel with us.

Today we celebrate India. We celebrate our heritage. We celebrate the generations before us. And above all, we celebrate the precious gift of freedom.
