Following the incredible success of last year’s event, we’re excited to bring our community together once again to raise funds for Friends of Sunshine House, supporting the amazing work of Pinn River School.

💛 Friends of Sunshine House supports children aged 3–14 who are blind or partially sighted and have additional complex needs, including:

✨ Multiple learning difficulties and disabilities
✨ Sensory impairments
✨ Communication difficulties
✨ Physical disabilities
✨ Complex medical and healthcare needs

We’re looking for raffle prize donations to help make this year’s charity raffle bigger and better than ever.

Due to the success of our event last year we are holding our second annual charity Summer Fete at The Gate Northwood, on 25th July 2026 from 12 PM.

This event is being held to raise funds for Friends of Sunshine House, a charity dedicated to supporting the Pinn River School. Sunshine House is a specialist education setting for children aged 3-14. The children who are educated at Sunshine House are blind and partially sighted with other needs that include:
* significant and multiple learning difficulties and disabilities
* additional sensory impairments
* communication difficulties
* physical disabilities
* additional medical and healthcare needs, including complex epilepsy and life-limiting conditions

We are inviting local businesses to take part by hosting a stall, which provides a great opportunity to promote your business and sell your products. The cost for a stall is £20, with all proceeds going directly to Friends of Sunshine House.
The fete will feature a variety of attractions, including:
• A DJ and live bands all day 🎸
• A bouncy castle🎪
• A raffle🎟️
• Games🎡
• And more!
