After alot of thinking and weighing up time restraints/cost of living/rises in fuel and food. I have decided to close Ems Platters, it may return in the future I'm not closing completely. I have stock to sell so if anyone needs any boxes or catering items check with me. Thank you for all the support and custom x

Em's platters was started as I saw a gap in the market for reasonably priced platters and party food, since I started I've achieved so much and been supported by many loyal customers. I've taken the summer to spend with my family and I've reviewed the costs to continue. I've reduced my out goings by not having a shop, but the cost of food,insurance and fuel have all increased. This was never my main income and something I enjoyed but when I'm now not going to break even, I've had to consider raising prices or closing the buisness. I'm taking a few more days before I decide for sure. X

Morning lovelies! EMS PLATTERS is taking a break for the summer so no bookings will be made from now until Sept. I need to concentrate on family at present. Will relook at situation come Sept. Many thanks 😊 X

Moving forward from covid Ems platters has made some changes to suit my family.
Em's platters will not be offering breakfast boxes unless its a block booking for meetings or conferences.
Lunches will now be delivered twice weekly Mon/weds pm or ordered in bulk for the month. Meals can be stored in the fridge if delivered weekly and reheated or frozen and then defrosted and reheated. Any queries pls contact me x

An update for us and covid in regards to lunches, I've had to make the difficult decision to take more time off, I have finished my isolation but I am really still unwell. I'm still positive and can't walk up the stairs without being out of breath.
I have decided to restart lunches on 31st January to give myself time to recover. I appreciate this will be difficult for people and I hope that you understand and will restart on the 31st Jan.

Sorry to share no lunches again this week. I tested positive on Thurs after thinking I had escaped it. No such luck. Fingers crossed next week back to normal service. So sorry x

🦠🦠🦠🦠 We have been hit by covid! My son tested positive on a lateral flow late last night,he has been for a PCR today but I'm expecting it to be positive he really is poorly.
Officially as I'm vaccinated I could continue to deliver lunches and do buffets etc but I'm very aware that my son was negative in am but positive by evening so I've decided I won't redeliver until isolation ends, to ensure everyone's protection. Hopefully it will be the week unless I catch it and isolation continues.
I do hope you have all had a lovely Christmas, let's hope this last variant is the weaker one and it continues to die out. 🦠🦠🦠🦠

Versatile is Ems platters middle name so yesterday we did trays suitable for a graze style table during lockdown, today charity event,arts and crafts,snacks, santa, and this evening a pre wedding graze table...the joy of having your own buisness you choose your direction. 🥰🤩🎅🌲☃️🎁
