Thank you to everyone who visited us this season!

💚 Thank You for a Wonderful 2026 Season 💚

And just like that, our regular visitor season has come to an end.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who visited Holdenby House and Gardens and Icarus Falconry and The Old Stableyard Tearoom at Holdenby throughout 2026.

Whether you came for a peaceful stroll through the gardens, enjoyed tea and cake watched the magnificent birds of prey, explored the House, joined us for an event or simply spent a few hours enjoying everything Holdenby has to offer...

Thank you.

It's wonderful to see people enjoying this very special place, and we genuinely appreciate every visit, every kind word, every photograph shared and every recommendation to friends and family.

The regular season may be over, but Holdenby isn't going quiet just yet...

We've still got some fantastic events taking place over the coming weeks, including running, cycling, falconry and, later in the year, our ever-popular fireworks!

So keep an eye on our page — there's still plenty happening at Holdenby. 🌿🏰

👩‍🍳 Who remembers Mrs Bumbridge?

Calling all those who grew up visiting Holdenby House... 👀

Do you remember Mrs Bumbridge, our Victorian housekeeper?

She has been part of the Holdenby experience for many years, helping visitors imagine what life was like in a country house in times gone by.

Well, she's coming back for Bank Holiday Monday! 🏰

This time, she'll be roaming the House alongside Sarah, our current Housekeeper, giving visitors the chance to ask questions, hear stories and discover how running Holdenby has changed from then to now.

It's a rather special way to experience the House and perhaps a little nostalgic for those who remember Mrs Bumbridge from years ago.
