HAPPY DAYS!!!! Oscar n Ollie's Miracle Dust Seasoning has won a Great Taste Awards which is a prestigious national award from the Guild of Fine Foods. It was the only one I entered so will enter more next year. Here are the judges comments:

"A finely ground powder with a deep, paprika red appearance. The smoke is balanced on the nose, and there is a sweet note on tasting. The spices are all well balanced, with depth from the paprika alongside warm heat - this would enhance a huge range of different ingredients"

"Whilst the rub was simple it was well blended and added interest to the meat on which we sampled the seasoning, with gentle heat from the Ceyenne pepper and a subtle smokiness that worked well. A very versatile storecupboard product."
