Statement from The Spice Inn Portaferry
Like many across Northern Ireland, we are deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific knife attack in Belfast.
Our thoughts are first and foremost with the victim, his family, and everyone affected. No person should ever have to face such violence, and everyone deserves to feel safe in their own community.
The Spice Inn Portaferry supports the right of people to come together peacefully, stand against violence, and call for safer communities.
We ask everyone attending any planned protest to do so peacefully, respectfully, and with dignity. Violence should never be answered with more violence — our strength comes from standing together as a community.
