Our crafty social evenings are back after a summer break. This Wednesday, 16th from about 4.30 for crafts, bring your thing, sewing, knitting, crochet, whatever you like and enjoy some company. Also flower club will be back on. 5 pm this Wednesday. Message me for more info.

An evening with Liz Scott. Former BBC producer and reporter. Coach and counsellor. Pilgrim and author. Liz has written a book about her pilgrimage from Cornwall to Norfolk after listening to her own ‘ inner intelligence’ something that Liz, who specialises in working with older women, encourages others to do. Liz is a keen walker and recognises the power of nature and the outdoors which runs as a thread throughout her work as a women’s coach. This will be a special and fascinating evening. Tuesday 29th September, £10 includes a drink and simple refreshments, booking essential. There will be a talk, Q & A and opportunity to buy the book. Arrive in time for 6.30 prompt start. We have lots of exciting things coming up as we move from summer to autumn. These are just a few of the highlights. Our monthly flower club and crafty natter night is back in September after a couple months off. We have a fantastic evening planned with Liz Scott who will talk about her pilgrimage and subsequent book. In November we will have a pre-loved clothes sale and of course the Christmas wreath making. We will also have special offers on during the Devon Open studios and Ashburton Food Festival.
