T’was the first week of October in O’Connors✨🍂

One month of O’Connors & what a month it’s been! ❤️

To everyone who has walked through our doors, whether you’re a familiar face, a new customer or someone who has simply popped in to see what we’re all about we want to say thank you.

Your support, kind words, reviews and of course - your appetites have meant the absolute world to us!

A huge thank you also goes to our incredible team. The long days, hard work, laughs and dedication you’ve put in over the last month have made O’Connors what it is. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you❤️

As a family, we’re incredibly proud to see our name above the door after several months of hard work to get here. To see the restaurant full, families and friends enjoying themselves, and people coming back through the doors again and again has been more than we could have imagined.

This is only the beginning, and we’re so excited for everything that’s still to come🥂

Thank you for making our first month so special. Here’s to many, many more! Time flies when you’re having fun…

With love,

’Connors💚

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 & 𝐁𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 🎅🏻

Evora Hospice Care would like to extend sincere thanks to 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐎’𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐫 and her team at the The Downshire Arms Restaurant & Bar Hilltown for their generous donation of £𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎.

This contribution was raised through the business’s 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 in December 2025, with an additional donation made in memory of the much-missed 𝐅𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧.

Pictured presenting the cheque to Fundraising Officer Alison Donaghy is Deborah O’Connor of The Downshire Arms. We also wish to thank everyone who contributed to this meaningful fundraising effort 💙
