A little update from Northern Slice 🍕
Sadly, we’re not quite ready yet, which means there’ll be no pizza this weekend.
We’ve been working flat out behind the scenes on the new pizza kitchen build, but after running into a few issues we’ve decided the best thing to do is aim for next weekend instead.
As frustrating as it is, waiting until we’re fully ready is the best option for both us and for you. We want to make sure we can serve properly, keep things running smoothly, and give everyone the experience they deserve rather than rushing things before we’re ready.
We’re so close now and genuinely can’t wait to get the ovens fired up and welcome everyone back properly.
Thank you again for all the patience, support, and encouragement while we build this thing the right way ❤️🍕

The story so far… 🍕🔥
From an old trailer frame to something that’s finally starting to look the part. It’s been long days, late nights, plenty of graft, and more than a few cups of coffee — but we’re pushing hard to be ready for Friday night.
The oven is ready. The trailer is taking shape. And Northern Slice is nearly back where it belongs.
Massive thanks to everyone supporting us, sharing posts, and checking in while we’ve been rebuilding through the winter. It genuinely means a lot.
Hopefully next stop… wood fired pizza in Fenham this Friday from 5–9 👀🍕

The wait is finally over and after a long ass slow winter, we’re firing up the ovens once again.

Join us next Friday from 5–9pm for authentic wood fired pizza, fresh from the oven and served up in the heart of Fenham. Expect crispy leopard crusts, fresh ingredients, and proper Neapolitan flavour.

Big things are happening behind the scenes 👀🍕
We’re back firing pizzas from next week — and this time we’re building a brand new mobile oven setup that can travel with us to events, pop-ups and new venues too.
A lot of cutting, painting, welding and last-minute plan changes… but it’s all starting to come together nicely. Can’t wait to get this beast finished and back serving pizzas 🔥

🐝 Our bee hives are very active at this time of year here in the garden! Swarming can look dramatic, but it’s actually a completely natural part of a healthy colony’s life cycle.
Bees are usually very calm during a swarm and are not interested in harming people if they feel safe and undisturbed. If you do spot a swarm nearby, don’t panic — simply move slowly away and give them space.
Then sit back and enjoy one of nature’s most fascinating sights as these beautiful insects get to work. 🌼🍯
