🥚 Turkey Eggs 🥚

We're delighted to announce that we now stock turkey eggs from Afan Valley Bantams 🙌

Raised locally & lovingly in the Afan Valley on organic feed, these fantastic eggs are laid by Norfolk Bronze turkeys. 👌

Turkey eggs are significantly larger and richer than chicken eggs. Featuring thick speckled shells, they have a richer, creamier taste due to a larger yolk-to-white ratio. Turkey eggs contain ~10.8g protein compared to chicken eggs which have ~6g. 💪

They're also much more rare; turkeys lay around 1-2 eggs per week compared with chickens who lay eggs almost every day!

We're now offering their Mortadella and Golfetta salami in toasted sandwiches at our cafe upstairs. Coupled with Caws Teifi Cheese Natural organic raw milk cheese, Isle of Wight Tomatoes organic vine tomatoes and organic gherkins, you're in for a real treat 😋

We're created a fresh batch of our popular pork scotch eggs 🙌

You can enjoy these hot or cold. To heat, place in a hot oven for around 10 minutes at 180°C.

Our in-house made scotch eggs contain organic free-range eggs, pork, our special seasoning blend and breadcrumbs from Rosa’s Bakery. They're deep-fried in beef tallow. 👌

No added nitrates/nitrites. No nasties. No refined seed oils. Just proper real tasty stuff.

We aim for the yolks to be runny 😋
