One week ago today, we reopened the doors of Barros Tropical Bistro — and what a great first week it’s been!

A big thank you to all of our regular customers for your continued support, and to everyone who has visited us for the first time. We’ve loved welcoming both familiar faces and new ones through our doors.

We’re excited for the weeks ahead and can’t wait to see you again soon. Thank you for being part of our first week back!

❗️Update❗️

We’ve been so excited to welcome you all to Barros Tropical Bistro today, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support and enthusiasm you’ve already shown us.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we need to delay our opening by just a couple of days. We’ll now be opening our doors this Friday instead.

While we know this may be disappointing, this short delay allows us to make sure everything is exactly as it should be.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support it, truly means the world to us!

We can’t wait to welcome you this Friday and celebrate together.

This is it - our final week!! 🤯

Unfortunately these aren’t my birthday balloons but they do serve to mark our restaurant years.

Thank you to everyone who has come to see us these past few weeks; for all the well wishes, the hugs and reminiscing.
It has been emotional and truly heart warming.
Turns out I should be hosting a lot of parties next year promising a lot of people an espetada at mine! 😂

We look forward to seeing many familiar faces this week and serving you all for the last time 💚

This Saturday, we will open for takeaways from 4pm and if you are available from 9pm, please come in and have a drink with the team one final time.
We will welcome you all 🥂

Barros' Tropical Bistro is closing after three decades of serving Jersey.

For us - it’s the end of an era!

We will be closing our doors for the very last time on Saturday 20th December.

From our first 11 years in Colomberie to the last 19 years in David Place; it has been quite the journey!

We cannot thank all our customers enough for your loyalty and custom over the past 30 years. We are grateful for so many amazing memories that we will cherish forever.

So please - come see us at least one more time for your final Barros espetada.
We hope to see lots of familiar friendly faces in our last couple of months
