☀️ What a fabulous week we’re having here at Minehead & West Somerset Golf Club!

The sunshine has brought out the best in the course, our golfers are loving the fantastic conditions, and the clubhouse is buzzing with a wonderful atmosphere.

We’re looking forward to another busy few days with the Ladies’ Club Championship today, several visiting golf societies, and a full weekend of competitions.

Behind the scenes, our amazing clubhouse and catering team are working incredibly hard to deliver freshly prepared, quality meals and friendly service to everyone who visits.

You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy what we have to offer! Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, or an evening function, we’d love to welcome you. Come along, relax, and see why our clubhouse is becoming one of the best places to eat and unwind in the area.

☀️ Today’s Food Service Update ☀️

Due to the exceptionally warm weather, we will be serving breakfasts and hot food until 12:00pm today.

After 12:00pm, we will be offering our selection of cold food, including freshly made sandwiches, salads and other light bites.

This decision has been made to help protect the wellbeing of our kitchen team during the high temperatures.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We hope you’ll still join us and enjoy some delicious food in the sunshine! 🌞

What a fantastic evening we had on Friday celebrating the incredible work of the Minehead National Coastwatch team.

Over 60 guests joined us for a wonderful evening, beginning with a Champagne reception, followed by a delicious three-course dinner. We were delighted to welcome BBC Points West journalist Ross Pollard, who gave an engaging and entertaining after-dinner speech.

The celebrations continued into the evening with fantastic live music from local band Samphire, creating the perfect atmosphere to round off a memorable night.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, our catering staff, front of house team, and all those who helped make the evening such a success. It was a fitting celebration of the dedication and commitment of the Minehead National Coastwatch team, who do such an important job keeping our coastline safe.

We look forward to doing it all again next year!
