💗 IT’S FRIDAY AT C17 DELI & DESSERTS 💗

Friday has finally arrived, so why not pop in and finish the week with something tasty?

We’ve got sandwiches, paninis, toasties, jacket potatoes, rice bowls, salads and plenty of other lunch favourites — followed, of course, by a lovely choice of cakes and desserts. Because if there’s ever a day for a little treat, it’s Friday! 💗

While you’re here, have a look at the beautiful handmade pottery created by our local featured artist, Nathaneal Jordinson. Nathaneal studied at Cleveland College of Art and Design and has been making ceramics for more than seven years, progressing from small animal sculptures to mugs, vases, egg cups and pieces made on the pottery wheel.

We’re very proud to give local talent a space to share their work. Supporting small businesses also means supporting the talented people within our community 💗

Come for lunch, stay for a coffee, browse Nathaneal’s lovely creations and perhaps take home a locally handmade piece.

Today at C17 Deli & Desserts we’ve got our homemade spicy parsnip soup — thick, warming and full of flavour, with a lovely little kick. Nothing too wild, just enough to prove parsnips aren’t only useful on a Sunday dinner 🩷

You can enjoy a bowl with any cold sandwich as part of our soup and sandwich deal for just £4.50. Sit in and get comfy, or take it away for a quick and filling lunch on the go.

While you’re visiting, have a look at the beautiful handmade pottery by our local featured artist, Nathaneal Jordinson. 🌟 SEPTEMBER’S LOCAL TALENT SHOWCASE AT C17 DELI & DESSERTS 🌟

A new month means another lovely local talent taking over our little showcase here in Linthorpe Village 💕

For September we’re welcoming Nathaneal Jordinson, a talented local ceramic artist who has been making pottery for over 7 years.

Nathaneal has brought along a brilliant selection of his handmade ceramics, from mugs, little pots and vases to some really unique pieces — and they’re all made by him. There’s even a SALE section at just £3 each 👀

This is exactly why we started our Local Talent Showcase — giving local people a little space to show off what they can do, while hopefully introducing their work to some new faces.

So while you’re popping into the deli for your lunch, a sweet treat or a cuppa, have a little browse too. You might find yourself going home with something completely unique 💕

💚 HAPPY 1ST SEPTEMBER! 💚

A new month, and this month we’ve got something very special happening at C17 Deli & Desserts 💚

On Friday 25th September, we’ll be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning from 9am–1pm ☕🍰

Pop in for a cuppa, enjoy some lovely cake and, most importantly, help us raise as much as we can for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

Cancer has touched the lives of so many families, so it would be lovely to see our little Linthorpe community come together and support such an important cause.

How on earth is it the 1st of September tomorrow?!

The school holidays are nearly over, routines are starting again and those busy mornings are about to return… which is exactly why our little deli is here. ❤️

Whether you’re grabbing something quick on the go, popping in for lunch, treating yourself to something sweet or just fancy sitting down for five minutes with a cuppa, we’ve got you.

And we’ve got some of our favourite months ahead… autumn treats, Halloween 🎃, proper comfort food, then all the lovely festive goodies as Christmas gets closer. 🎄

C17 Deli & Desserts might be the little sister next door, but we’re very proud to be part of the Chapter 17 Café family and part of our lovely Linthorpe Village community.
