The Bear Inn Hodnet has from the 16th century stood opposite the Norman church at the centre of the historic village of Hodnet in North Shropshire.
~
Over the years there were many interactions between the inn and the church, allegedly including a secret tunnel connecting the two.
~
The church and the inn remain at the heart of Hodnet today and are both worth a visit.
