Its only one week to go until we Light up the Night on Lawford Green with our childrens Light The Night Walk in aid of Young Lives Vs Cancer. Parents why not bring your children along and take part and help support the amazing work Young Lives Vs Cancer do to support families going through the trauma of having a child undergo treatment for cancer. Registration is from 4pm on the 21st of November at Lawford Parish Council Offices on The Avenue Lawford Green. Bring a torch or lantern and help us light up the night with hope. Saturday 6th December will see Manningtree High Street come alive again with the Manningtree Christmas Market. With Street entertainers provided by the Lemmings Theatre group, food, drink and craft stalls and a free Santa's Grotto.
The Christmas Market is part funded by the UK goverment through the UK shared Prosperity Fund. We would also like to thank our other sponsors City & Country, Rose Builders, Chigwell Windows Limited, Lawford Parish Council. Bradfield Parish Council, Mistley Parish Council, Manningtree Buisiness Chamber and Manningtree Town Council.

Calling all local children and parents. We would love to have you join us on a Light the Night Walk to raise funds and awareness for Young Lives Vs Cancer on Friday the 21st of November. Starting at Lawford Parish Council Offices on Lawford Green and following to routes around the Lawford Green Estate.
We would love to have as many children and their parents join us with torches and lanterns to light up the night and bring hope to young families battling cancer.
Entry is only £1 per child and we will have Glow Sticks and refreshments available to purchase on the night.
Registration is from 4pm at Lawford Parish Council Offices and there will be a short route and a long route to follow all marshalled by members of Manningtree Rotary Club.

A very small section of the High St will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday this week. You will still be able to drive into Manningtree all the way to the crossroads by Cafe Rio, up South St and down to the beach and along the walls so it will not affect parking. In fact it’s easier when there’s a road closure than any other time as the signs all the way to the station roundabout and in Mistley imply the whole High St is closed.

The van’s open today and tomorrow morning from 10am-1pm for a delicious coffee by our lovely riverfront! 😎☀️ We’re back in our usual pitch every weekend now, …but we’ll still be here most Thursday’s and Friday’s (as long as it’s not chuckin’ it down!) 😎😁
