The man, the myth, the legend. Our very own,Phil “The Power” Taylor. Founding member when we set out on our journey of making burritos back in 2012 as Changos Burrito Bar. Loyal supporter through thick & thin, advisor, lender, bookkeeper, sound board, decorator, my rock & my very best friend.
My dad, left this earth in the early hours of 16th May after a battle with liver disease. Peaceful in his sleep at home, next to my mum, as were his wishes. A beloved family man, a true gentleman, adored by us all and will be missed more than I can express.
Small businesses in this country are built on people like my dad. Behind the scenes, people don’t see what goes on up & down the country to make these small businesses tick over. My dad was a massive reason why Changos Burrito, now Listo Burrito has been a success for over 14 years. He didn’t want paying for his time. He just wanted to see me & it succeed. He wouldn’t ask any questions, he was just loyal till the day he died, to aid me and the business, however and wherever I needed him.
It’s only been a week that he passed away and it still feels very surreal but I miss him so much already. Listo Burrito will continue to live on in his memory.
RIP Dad. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you’ve done for us, to help us to where we’ve got to. The journey will continue with you looking on. ❤️
