We’re so excited to be hosting the August Spiky Carrot Carrot Club Meet Up right here in the jungle 🪴

This isn’t your usual networking event

No awkward pitches
No forced sales chat
No standing around pretending you remember everyone’s name 😂

Just a relaxed afternoon in the jungle, meeting other local business owners, hearing real stories and making genuine connections 🍀

We will be sharing the story behind Oh Shoot! Plants, from a windy little market stall to the three storey jungle we now call home 🌿

We’ll also be joined by Alice and Emily from Wray & Co Picture Framers, who’ll be talking about their own business journey, what’s shaped their growth and the lessons they’ve learned along the way 🤗

Every attendee will leave with their own houseplant to take home! 🪴

Beartown Coffee is now available in Birmingham!🐻☕️🥳

The Haven Community Coffee House, spearheaded by Victory Outreach Church Birmingham, is poised to become a beacon of unity and support within the Great Barr community. Situated on the bustling Newton Road, this not-for-profit venture seeks to provide a warm, inclusive environment that fosters meaningful connections and combats social isolation. By hosting a variety of activities tailored to diverse groups—from dementia support and youth engagement to creative arts and parent-child craft sessions—The Haven aims to be more than just a coffee shop. It aspires to be a sanctuary that nurtures community spirit, supports mental well-being, and champion’s positive social change. With a strong foundation in Christian values, The Haven is dedicated to reinvesting its resources back into the community, ensuring its programs and services continue to evolve to meet the needs of its patrons and the community. Some of the proceeds will also go to fund supported housing projects, and restorative aims for young people and those in addiction. Franke

Massive shoutout to Martin Wrench, representing Railway Bowling Club - Congleton with exceptional form this season!

He's lifted the Maureen Bennett Cup 🏆, added the Potteries Merit🥇 to his achievements, and secured his place in both the All England 64 Man and Champions of Champions competitions.

Absolutely love this. It genuinely means a lot when someone takes a moment out of their day to share something positive. I put a lot of heart into what I do at Beartown Coffee Company, from roasting the beans here in Congleton to serving people with a smile, so hearing that it hit the spot made my day. In a world that can feel a bit heavy at times, kindness like this really does go a long way. People deal with people, and today you reminded me why that matters.✌️🐻☕️

I don't get out much, but I have just been to pick some children up from Congleton. While waiting the coffee van parked in front kindly offered me a free cup!

Now I drink a lot of coffee. Too much, so I know a good one when I taste it!
