Who can remember the journey?

The Vatten Hus - meaning water house. We have followers from the beginning, who watched the boat get built into what is a beautiful staycation nestled in the heart of Manchester.

We do things differently here. Step aboard The Vatten Hus boat and upgrade your staycation. With two kingsized bedrooms adored in flowers, it's a dreamy getaway for birthdays celebrations or just a city staycation.

Spending some time looking back at how far we've come – and just feeling incredibly grateful.

Thank you to every amazing guest who’s stayed on The Vatten Hus.
What started as an idea for a luxury boat – something a little different for Manchester – turned into a 70ft wide beam floating penthouse.

Months of designing, planning, getting licences for the water, and building... and now here it is. Still feels surreal.

The biggest boat on the canal, spacious enough for up to 6 guests, and perfect for everything from big city stays to cosy couple retreats – we’ve had them all 😊
