Good morning all,

After some time off Charlie has decided he wishes to retire due to health reasons.

We would like to thank every one of our customers for their loyalty and support over the last 5 1/2 years.

We have loved every minute of it, we have memories that we will talk about for a very long time.

We have enjoyed being part of Gilwern’s community once again.

Temporary Closure Notice.

We wish to inform you that The Beaufort will temporarily be closed for some maintenance work and some rest.

Closure dates: 01st September to 04th October 2026 inclusive.

Reopening date: 05th October 2026.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming you back once maintenance and rest is complete.

We haven’t seen anyone from the Gilwern WI who come in the first Friday of the month, if anyone knows someone in Gilwern WI ?

Also our exercise group who attend every Tuesday apologies.

All bookings for September have been notified except one who we are unable to reach and this booking is for a lady called Sheila on September 15th @ 7.15pm for 8 people.

Good afternoon all,

Due to extreme temperatures 🥵 for Sunday lunch we will be serving:

Hot beef or pork and stuffing baguettes with roast potatoes or chips along with a jug of gravy.

Also our daily specials will be available.

Just to let you know that we are open as usual.
Monday through to Sunday, midday to 11pm.

With food being served 12-3pm and then 6-9pm Monday - Saturday and Sunday roast 12-2.30pm.

Christmas Eve open Midday -11pm and food being served 12-6pm.

Christmas Day 12-3pm, drinks only.

Boxing Day open Midday - 11pm and the normal menu along with specials being served 12-5pm.

New Years Eve open Midday - Midnight and the normal menu 12-3 and then

6-9pm Burgers and Prosecco 🍾 only.

1 Burger and 1 large bottle of Prosecco £30, add an extra Burger for £5.

New Years Day open Midday - 11pm and normal
Menu being served along with specials 12-2.45 and
then 6-8.45pm.

Christmas specials available from Monday 1st December until Tuesday 23rd December inclusive 🦃
