We’re open until 4pm today!

And this week’s Cake of the Week is a delicious Coffee & Walnut Cake, lovingly made by our lovely Amy and Sarah.

It’s been so lovely watching Amy support Sarah and show her the ropes as she gains valuable work experience with us. We love seeing our café become a place where people can learn, grow in confidence and discover their skills.

As a wellbeing café, creating opportunities like this is such an important part of what we do. We’re proud to work with Derwen College and give students like Sarah the opportunity to gain real world work experience in a friendly, supportive environment.

A huge well done to Amy and Sarah and if you fancy a slice of their Coffee & Walnut Cake, we’re here until 4pm today!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful people supporting our cafe, from our lovely customers to organisations that give generous donations.
Our friends at "Friends of Telford Town Park" have been dropping off home grown produce from their allotment. We have been kept stocked up with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, beetroot and rhubarb (to name a few) .
Nicola has made a lovely rhubarb and ginger cake and the tomatoes will be roasted and turned into a pasta sauce. Delicious.

What a fab day we’ve had at the Sunflower Café! 🌻💛

We’ve been busy baking and decorating a birthday cake for our lovely CEO, Jeni! 🎂🥳 As well as getting all the cupcakes ready for tomorrow’s Children’s Autism Hub Coffee Morning, taking place 10:00am–12:00pm at Hazeldine House. 🧁☕

And of course, we’ve been keeping all our lovely customers fuelled with breakfast and lunch too! 🍳🥪

It’s been a busy one, but such a lovely day at the café! 💛🌻
