Every bakery has a story, so I thought I’d tell ours. 🤍
Amelia Elizabeth Cakes started at home, creating celebration cakes for friends, family and local customers.
Then life got a little busier. Amelia arrived, followed by George, and while juggling family life and a full-time career, baking was always the constant! 🧁🍰
This year, it finally felt like the right time to take the leap and turn that passion into something bigger. 🥰
I’m Sophie, the baker behind Amelia Elizabeth Cakes. During the week, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen decorating cakes, testing new recipes and getting everything ready for the counter.
Then there’s Jamie. He’s my partner, my biggest supporter and the voice of reason whenever I get a little carried away with another idea! Some weekends, you’ll find him behind the coffee machine serving drinks, cracking the odd joke and making people laugh. If you’ve popped in for a coffee and left smiling, there’s a good chance Jamie had something to do with it!
Right now, we’re pouring so much love, time and hard work into bringing Amelia Elizabeth Cakes to life. Every decision, every detail and every bake is helping shape the little bakery we’re so excited to share with you.
We can’t wait to open our doors this September and hope that when you visit, you’ll see just how much love has gone into every corner. 🩷
