It’s been closed since 2020, but the famous Oxford pub where J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis shared pints finally has a reopening date! 🍻✨

​The historic Eagle and Child is officially set to reopen its doors in 2027 following an extensive restoration project led by American billionaire Larry Ellison and world-famous architect Norman Foster.

​While the pub will feature modern biotech meeting spaces upstairs, the ground floor is being fully restored to preserve its legendary heritage as a traditional British pub.
