🍕 A LITTLE HONEST CHAT🍕
We need to have a bit of a chat with you all.
To be completely honest, we're going through so much behind the scenes at the minute. There's ongoing dramas with certain companies that we're trying desperately to get resolved, on top of everything else we're trying to get sorted with The Pan Yard. It's been a really stressful time for us. We really are mentally exhausted.
When we opened The Pan Yard, our main aim was always to have delivery as a big part of what we do. Unfortunately, despite advertising and trying to find someone suitable, we currently don't have a driver who can take the job on.
And honestly… we have absolutely no idea when that's going to change. 😩
We've had advice about the driver job and, to be fair, it's actually not a bad little job. But at the moment, nobody who's suitable is coming forward and we can't keep waiting indefinitely for someone to appear.
The problem is, without delivery, we're relying on people coming to collect — and we really, really need more of you to do that.
We completely understand that collection isn't possible for everyone. We genuinely do. But the reality is that we can't keep going if we're not getting enough orders through the door.
Our prices are already kept as low as we can. We're different from your usual takeaway, and we've put a lot of time, money and bloody hard work into getting The Pan Yard up and running.
We don't want to end up in a position where we have no choice but to close the doors. And we're being completely honest when we say that's a possibility if things don't pick up.
So while we're still trying to find that elusive driver, we're asking the people who can collect to please give us a try.
Come and grab your pizzas. Try something a bit different. Support a small local business. And help us keep the doors open while we work out the delivery side.
We don't know when delivery will happen — so for now, collection is what we've got.
And one final ask — please read the FAQs on our website before placing your order. Most of the information you need is already there, and at the minute we really need things to be as straightforward as possible while we're dealing with everything else.
