Goliath’s Falls - Liskeard

What a stunning place!!!

We definitely didn’t go prepared enough for the hike to find the waterfalls, and I accidentally left the baby carrier at home on this trip so we had to take it in turns carrying Marley in our arms and he weighs a tonne now 😂😂😂

So we didn’t end up making it to see the waterfall but we had a great time exploring the wood 🌳 and playing in the streams and brooks 💙

Waking up to this every morning on our last trip was heaven! Sad to be back to reality now 😢 only three more weeks till we are back in the van though 😄

Port Quinn

We purchased some inflatable Kayaks before we went away and couldn’t wait to find a place to test them out. We had spent the morning in St Endellion taking the kids to a giant slip and slide (I will do a post on that another day) and we decided to have a look and see if there was anywhere around to take the kayaks. We found Port Isaac on the map which was only a few miles away so we headed off in that direction.

Unfortunately as we came close to the bay the road sign said no vehicles over 2m, not wanting to disappoint the boys we saw a sign for Port Quinn and decided to head there.

What a hidden little gem 💎

I’m so glad we stumbled upon this place accidentally. We followed some pretty narrow winding roads and eventually came to a tiny car park run by the which cost £2 all day and had an honesty box for you to put your money in.

We just managed to find space for the camper in the car park!

We unloaded the inflatable kayaks, one thing is that we wished we had of bought a better pump for them as the foot pump they came with took a long time and we ended up doing some bits by mouth.

The bay was just on the other side of the car park and there was a little honesty box where you had to pay £2 per kayak to use the bay.

It was the most perfect place for the kids to play and test out the kayak. It was their first time using one and we made sure they all had their new life jackets on which we purchased from

The bay was dog friendly too so Talulah got to explore and run around after the kids. 😊
