The heatwave has arrived — and so has our brand‑new Mediterranean style Heatwave Menu at The Yew Tree, Longhope.
To keep our kitchen cool (and our chefs even cooler), we’ve turned off the fryer and switched things up with fresh, vibrant Mediterranean flavours.
🌿 Every main dish now comes with a stunning sharing board, featuring:
New potatoes with mint butter
Our house coleslaw
Garden green salad
Mediterranean cous cous
Sliced artisan bread
A little taste of the Med — right here in Longhope.☀️ This special menu runs for lunch and dinner throughout the hot weather.

It was more than extremely hot 🔥 in the kitchen tonight, that said we have made the decision to close the kitchen Wednesday night and Thursday night as it’s going to get hotter! The kitchen will be be open for lunch 12 till 2.30pm and then the bar bar open as normal!
We apologise for any disappointment but we have to consider the safety and well being of the team x

A new week is here, and we’re buzzing with activity. As always, we’re open every day for lunch and dinner, plus our Saturday and Sunday breakfast from 9–11:30am followed by our Lazy Sunday Lunch from 12–4pm.

And with Father’s Day this Sunday, spaces are disappearing fast — so be quick to book if you want to treat Dad to something special.
