Creamy, smoky, and unmistakably moreish tarama is one of those dishes that instantly transports you to the Mediterranean.

Made from cured fish roe, olive oil, lemon, tarama has deep roots in Greek and Turkish cuisine. Traditionally enjoyed during Lent in Greece, it was a humble, resourceful dish that turned simple ingredients into something rich and indulgent.
